Request Data Deletion Without Deleting Your Account

You can request that some or all of your data be deleted from Lorae without permanently deleting your account. There are two ways to do this:

Option 1: Delete Data In-App

You can individually delete specific data entries directly within the Lorae app:

1. Open the Lorae app and sign in
2. Navigate to the relevant section (Home, Actions, Journey, etc.)
3. Tap on any individual entry (mood check-in, habit, goal, journal entry, thought record, worry item, sleep log, gratitude entry, or exposure item)
4. Tap the delete or trash icon to remove that specific entry

Deleted entries are removed immediately and permanently.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you prefer, you can email us to request deletion of specific data categories without deleting your account:

support@loraeapp.com

Please include the email address associated with your account and specify which data you would like deleted. We will process your request within 7 days.

Types of Data That Can Be Deleted

You can request deletion of any or all of the following without deleting your account:

• Mood entries and check-ins
• Habit tracking history
• Sleep logs
• Goals and progress data
• Journal entries and notes
• Gratitude entries
• Thought records
• Worry items
• Exposure and ERP items
• Behavioral experiments
• Community messages and direct messages
• Buddy connections
• Trophies and milestones
• Social media mood check-ins
• Reminder and notification settings

Data Retention

Requested data is deleted immediately and permanently upon processing your request. No deleted data is retained or recoverable after deletion. Your account itself remains active unless you separately request full account deletion.
